Warranty Policy

Prime Facility Gear

At Prime Facility Gear (PFG), we stand behind the quality of our engineering, control panel fabrication, and automation systems. Our goal is to deliver dependable solutions that perform reliably in real-world industrial environments.


Standard Warranty Coverage

Prime Facility Gear provides a one (1) year limited warranty from the date of shipment or system startup (whichever occurs first), unless otherwise stated in writing.

This warranty covers:

  • Defects in workmanship

  • Errors in electrical assembly

  • Control panel fabrication defects

  • PLC programming defects that prevent intended operation

If a defect attributable to PFG is identified within the warranty period, we will, at our discretion:

  • Repair the defective component

  • Provide replacement parts

  • Correct programming errors

  • Perform corrective service


Manufacturer Component/Equipment Warranties

Individual components (PLCs, drives, breakers, relays, power supplies, etc.) and 3rd Party Equipment are covered under the original manufacturer’s warranty.

PFG will assist customers in facilitating warranty claims with manufacturers when applicable, but manufacturer warranty terms and timelines apply.


What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage due to improper installation by others

  • Unauthorized modifications or alterations

  • Improper maintenance

  • Power surges, environmental damage, or misuse

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Consumable items (fuses, filters, etc.)

  • Downtime, lost production, or consequential damages


Field Service & Travel

If warranty service requires on-site support:

  • Labor related to verified warranty defects is covered.

  • Travel expenses may be billed unless otherwise specified in the project agreement.

Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting are typically the first step in resolving warranty concerns.


Warranty Claim Process

To initiate a warranty claim:

  1. Notify Prime Facility Gear in writing with a description of the issue.

  2. Provide relevant documentation, photos, and error details if available.

  3. Allow PFG reasonable opportunity to diagnose the issue remotely prior to dispatch.

We are committed to responding promptly and working collaboratively to resolve concerns efficiently.


Limitation of Liability

Prime Facility Gear’s liability under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of defective work as described above. PFG shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including loss of production or profit.
